Located in Plymouth, this iconic headquarters building was designed by Sir Nicholas Grimshaw CBE, to reflect Plymouth’s maritime heritage, being in the form of a ship. The building was completed in 1993 and received a Royal Institute Of British Architects Award in 1994. Originally designed as offices and a print facility for a regional newspaper, times have moved on in the that business and the buildings owners are looking for a new user of this still striking example of modern architecture. Vast empty floors once busy with huge printing presses and the office spaces devoid of the hurried world of journalism.
